Victoria's Secret is rolling out a new advertising campaign with the goal of redefining what is commonly thought of as 'sexy.' Of course everyone knows them for their Angels, the group of super-skinny supermodels who are all like 6 feet tall and 90 pounds. That's not a very realistic representation of the average woman.
So the new focus will be on women known more for the great things they've accomplished rather than just their looks. The new campaign will feature soccer star Megan Rapinoe, freestyle skier Eileen Gu, transgender model Valentina Sampaio and model, advocate Paloma Essler. And Nick Jonas' wife actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas will also be part of this new ad campaign. They'll be featured in ads, do social media posts and other functions for the brand. I wonder if VS will still hold their annual fashion show? My guess is if they do, at least those stupid angel wings will be a thing of the past.
