You know, Summer is the one time of year that I don't feel guilty about having ice cream for dinner. I just use the excuse that it's super hot outside. What's your favorite ice cream flavor? I actually have two: mint chocolate chip and butter pecan. And I've gotta have chocolate sprinkles on there too.
The food delivery service Instacart crunched the numbers and has revealed the most popular flavors of ice cream in different parts of the country. They found that nationwide the most loved flavor is Moose Tracks. That's a mash-up of vanilla ice cream and fudge swirls and peanut butter cups, and it's very popular in 12 states, including Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Rocky Road, which is big in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming, was tied for second with Coffee ice cream. That, no surprise, is a favorite of us New Englanders. Folks in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and of course Rhode Island love coffee ice cream, like we love our coffee milk! Check out the rest of the list HERE!
