Jason Momoa is grieving the loss of Aquaman superfan Danny Sheehan, a little boy from Marshfield, Massachusetts, whom he became friendly with last year. Sadly Danny passed away on Sunday at the age of 8 after a four-year battle with a rare brain cancer.
You may remember the viral video from last November of Danny saying how happy he was when he got an Aquaman toy. Jason heard about the video, and contacted the boy and his family. Later that month he posted video of himself FaceTiming with Danny.
Yesterday, Jason offered his condolences in an Instagram post saying, "I have no words that could do you justice. All I can say is what a privilege it is to be your friend. You are as bright as the sun. I'll always be awestruck by you (and everyone that sent packages for our visits!). You deserved more than to fight childhood cancer with adult treatments."
