A brand new restaurant is coming to Epcot at Walt Disney World this Fall! This eatery has been in the works for a while, and the views are out of this world! A meal at Space 220 will be like dining on the International Space Station high above the earth.
Space 220 was originally set to open at the end of 2019, but the pandemic and other delays kept that from happening. Now it's finally set to "launch" in mid-September!
The new themed restaurant is next to Epcot’s Mission: SPACE attraction, and according to Disney Imagineers we can expect, “amazing meals and a spectacular view.” In an Instagram post, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley said, “this immersive experience brings you to Centauri Space Station, where you can take a virtual look at the planet from above while you dine.”
While enjoying the view, you'll be able to dine on food from around the world. Expect a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch and a three-course prix fixe dinner menu. Plus we can expect “atmospheric cocktails” so says DisneyFoogBlog.com. Can't wait to blast off!
