NBC 10 reports that Mojo now resides at Smith and Agli’s Potbelly Manor off of Ten Rod Road in North Kingstown! They found out in April that he would be coming to live their and decided to keep that information to themselves for a while.
Elizabeth Smith, the co-owner of the sanctuary told NBC 10, “We let someone know that we would take him and we got a call from the people that took him back, that had him and they surrendered him to us. At first we wanted to keep things quiet because everything was new to him and he was very timid when he got here, the initial plan was to foster him.”
Smith and Agli’s Potbelly Manor has been taking in homeless pigs since 1995, but over the years they have adopted other animals including a Jersey cow named Gilligan, who has become good friends with Mojo.
Because their animal family is growing, the owners want to build a new barn before winter so they've started a GoFundMe page to raise money for it. You can also follow them on Facebook!
