FAA Tweets Out PSA About Unruly Passengers!

We've been hearing about a lot of bad behavior from passengers on airplanes, and it really is unacceptable. I know it's a bit of a nuisance to have to wear a mask during an entire flight, and yes, there have been several flight cancellations, but there's no excuse for being a total jerk on a plane. And it's also very distracting for the pilot and crew members so very dangerous for everyone onboard.

The FAA is fed up, and they're doing something about it. The government agency has issued a new warning to all those folks who are thinking about causing trouble on flights. In a new public service announcement they said, "Unruly behavior doesn't fly." And along with that message are several of the in-flight recordings of disturbances that have occurred onboard flights recently.

The PSA is a warning that if you behave this way, you could face huge fines like the over half-a-million dollars in fines that have been levied against close to three dozen passengers.

If you're considering challenging that in-flight mask mandate, you should know that most of the fines were slapped on passengers who refused to wear one. Others were caught sneaking their own alcohol onto the plane and drinking it. All in all there have been almost four-thousand reports of unruly passengers filed recently! Chill out people!
