Dancing With The Stars is set to kick off it's 30th season, and up until now has never allowed a same-sex couple to compete. However, that is about to change! YouTube star JoJo Siwa is about to make history as half of the show's very first same-sex dance partnership!
You may remember 18 year old Siwa from the show "Dance Moms." She came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community back in April, and has been dating girlfriend Kylie Prew since the beginning of the year.
Siwa made the announcement on video and said, "To be dancing with a girl, I think it's so cool! I can't wait to meet my partner!" Being a dancer, I think JoJo will do really well in the competition! I'm sure she has several hairbows all ready to go!
Olympic Gold Medal Gymnast Suni Lee has also been announced as a cast member for the upcoming season. Reportedly we'll find out the rest of the cast when they are revealed September 8th on Good Morning America.
Season 30 of "Dancing With The Stars" kicks off September 20th on ABC.
