GOT fans get ready for a "Game of Thrones" Official Fan Convention this Winter in Las Vegas! The Rio Hotel & Suites Convention Center is hosting this three-day event that runs February 18th through 20th of 2022.
Lots of special guests will be there for panel discussions, autograph signings and photo opportunities. You'll have the opportunity to buy exclusive Game of Thrones merch, and of course cosplay, so all you Khaleesis and Jon Snows get those outfits ready! And you can reminisce about all the great episodes that came before that disastrous final one.
According to organizers we can expect them to release a full schedule of events in the coming weeks, along with details on ticket prices and how we can buy them. Keep an eye on their website for more details, click HERE.
And remember, HBO is working on a GOT prequel series right now called “House of the Dragon” about House Targaryen. We'll get to see what went on with that family before Mother of Dragons was born. It's based on George R.R. Martin's book "Fire and Blood," and it's set 300 years before the time period in which "Game of Thrones" is set. According to HBO the show stars Matt Smith from "Dr. Who" and "The Crown," Paddy Considine from the HBO series "The Third Day" and Olivia Cooke from the movie "Ready Player One." The show will make it's debut sometime in 2022 on HBO and HBO Max.
