One of the most iconic voices in rock n roll history is releasing a new album. However , it's not a rock album. Former Journey lead singer Steve Perry announced on Twitter he's releasing a holiday record called "The Season" just in time for this upcoming Christmas season. Perry, released his rendition of " I'll be Home for Christmas" to celebrate the the upcoming release. The rock star said in a statement he hopes his music will transport people "back to those golden moments with their loved ones" and will give others "feelings of joy and connection and comfort that we all need so much". Some of the other tracks on the upcoming album include Perry's spin on classics like "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "Silver Bells". " The Season " is available available for preordrer now and is set a November 5th release.
