Cancelled TV Series "COPS" Picked Up By Streamer "Fox Nation!"

I had a feeling this show would be back at some point. During the protests over accusations of police brutality after the death of George Floyd, Paramount Network decided to cancel the reality series "Cops" that followed real-life police officers on their nightly patrols. Now the series is making it's way back to Fox where the show made it's debut back in 1989. In 2013 the the series moved over to Spike TV which then became the Paramount Network.

The show continued to be produced for international and overseas audiences, and last October filmed in Spokane County, Washington with the sheriff's department. Fox announced that the 33rd season of "Cops" will debut October 1st on it's new subscription streaming service Fox Nation. The first four episodes of the season will be available immediately, and a new episode will be released each Friday. They'll also have several episodes from Season 32 available for viewing.

The president of Fox Nation Jason Klarman said, “COPS” is “one of the most iconic brands on television with an incredibly passionate fan base.” He added that Fox Nation “wanted to give back in a small way to those who place their lives on the line every day to keep us safe.”
