I may have to take advantage of this deal. If you've been wanting to try out HBO Max but the $15 a month price tag put you off a little bit, now may be the time to sign up. About five million people had subscribed to HBO through Amazon, but as of September 15th, all of those subscriptions were shut down, so now Warner Media is trying to make up for the loss of all those account holders, and lure in new ones by offering a pretty sweet deal. They've discounted HBO Max by 50%! The new promotion will let people sign up for HBO Max for only $7.49 a month for six months! After that the price goes up to the usual $14.99 per month.
I'm assuming you could cancel once the six months is done, so it might be worth giving it a try. There is a lot of good stuff to watch on HBO Max. All of the Harry Potter movies are on there, also the new horror movie Malignant that's still in theaters, along with the movies Tenet, Wonder Woman 1984, the new Suicide Squad and many others. Plus that new Soprano's prequel movie "The Many Saints of Newark" is headed to HBO Max on October 1st!
You've gotta hurry though, the deal ends on September 26th.
