If social awareness had a flavor this would be it! Ben & Jerry's likes to get behind causes they believe in, so they're releasing a brand new ice cream flavor this week called ‘Change Is Brewing.’ The flavor helps shine a light on some new legislation proposed by Representative Cori Bush who is a Democrat from Missouri. His hope is to make some changes to public safety by giving money to the Department of Health and Human Services to fund non-police first responders for mental health related emergencies also those that involve substance abuse and other behavioral problems.
Whether you're down with the cause or not, this does sound like a yummy flavor. They've teamed up with a Black-owned coffee and tea company called Blk & Bold and Greyston Bakery in New York who have been working since 1982 to make a better world by investing in communities. Together they've all whipped up this cold-brew coffee flavored ice cream with fudge brownies swirled in there along with marshmallow.
