Yesterday Disney World announced that their new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel will officially open in Orlando on March 1st of 2022! Get ready for an immersive experience that will make you feel as if you've set off into space for a vacation in a galaxy far, far away. Also steel yourself for an out of this world price!
During your two night stay at the Star Wars themed hotel, you'll choose your own adventure and become the hero of your own story. Your trip takes you to the remote planet of Batuu. You and the fam can explore the ship, learn to master a lightsaber and hang out with characters from your favorite Star Wars movies.
If you choose to stay in Disney's standard cabins, your window features views of deep space sleep. Although Disney does note that you do not actually fly into space. Well duh. The cabins sleep up to four or five guests. A more pricey suite sleeps between four and eight passengers, and has a living area as well.
And now you're probably wondering how much all of this fun and excitement is gonna cost you. Well, for a family of four it will be about $6,000 for two nights, and that's in the standard cabin! Meanwhile, two people can expect to pay $4,809.
You do get a lot for your money though. Prices includes your two-night stay in either a cabin or suite, food and most nonalcoholic beverages. Plus it includes your tickets to Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park and valet parking.
General bookings for the hotel begin on October 28th, and it will open it's doors on March 1st of next year. You'll have priority if you are a member of Disney's Vacation Club or a season pass-holder, also if you have a Disney Visa Card. You folks will be able to book your stay before everyone else.
