Wow this is such a cool idea! I only wish it was happening closer to New England. A “live-to-film” performance of the classic Tim Burton movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is happening later this month in Los Angeles!
There will be two shows at Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium on October 29th and 31st, and voice actors will perform the lines in the movie as it's playing, and a live orchestra will provide all the beloved music from the film.
Starring as Sally is teen singing star Billie Eilish, who will perform “Sally’s Song,” and the role of Jack Skellington will be played by the film’s composer and original cast member, Danny Elfman. Another original cast member, Ken Page, will be singing the part of Oogie Boogie. And the role of Lock, originally played by Paul Reubins (aka Pee Wee Herman) will now be portrayed by “Weird Al” Yankovic!
If you're up for a road trip, tickets are still available and cost anywhere from $40 to $180 and in some cases even more when you factor in resale tickets.
