Lots of people have been cheering in recent months as billionaires Jeff Bezos , Elon Musk and Richard Branson, have been blasting into space themselves or sending space tourists up, most recently, William Shatner. But Britain's Prince William isn't one of them. In a BBC interview that aired early Thursday (October 14th), William spoke about the threat from climate change, which is one of the issues he focuses on, saying, "We need some of the world’s greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet, not trying to find the next place to go and live." Bezos said in July about his own brief space flight that it's part of building a road to space, quote, "so that our kids and their kids can build a future," adding, "We need to do that to solve the problems here on Earth." But the 39-year-old future heir to the British throne thinks differently, saying it's, quote, "crucial to be focusing on this planet rather than giving up and heading out into space to try and think of solutions for the future."
