Race for a Wish With B101 at R1 Indoor Karting on November 7th!

For almost 40 years A Wish Come True has been granting wishes to children and teens with life threatening illnesses in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, and B101 is excited to help raise money to grant a wish to our Wish Kid Euphemia! She's a sweet, sixteen year old girl who lives in Providence, who was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia back in 2015. Sickle cell is an inherited, red blood cell disorder, and there is no cure. Euphemia spends a lot of time in the hospital for treatments, and she is more susceptible to infections. Last year the Covid 19 pandemic made everything even more difficult for her. Euphemia's mom Dorothy worries about her daughter's health every day.

Euphemia has made a wish for a new bedroom set so she can make her own little oasis in her home. And B101 needs your help to grant Euphemia's wish! Join us on Sunday, November 7th from 4 to 7pm at R1 Indoor Karting in Lincoln for B101's Race for a Wish! Help us raise money while you enjoy Go Kart racing, the Arcade and R1's newest attraction, their immersive gaming experience TimeZone! Plus we'll have live music, raffle prizes and more! Click HERE to get your tickets! Hope to see you there! Listen below to Kristin's interview with Mary-Kate O'Leary, Executive Director of A Wish Come True about Euphemia's wish!
