The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Will Be Back to Normal This Year!

Last year’s reimagined, Covid-era Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with no crowds of spectators was a bit of a bummer, so it’s very exciting to hear that the beloved holiday event is getting back to normal this year. The 95th annual edition happens in New York City on Thanksgiving Day on November 25th from 9am to noon, and will be broadcast live on NBC.

Along with the announcement, Macy's told us a little bit about who will be performing that day, plus some of the giant balloons we can expect to see. Carrie Underwood will be riding a float and singing this year, and so will Jimmie Allen, Kelly Rowland, Rob Thomas, Kristin Chenoweth, Mickey Guyton, Chris Lane, and others. My guess is we can also expect to see the Radio City Rockettes doing some high kicks.

Floating high above the parade will be all your old favorite giant balloons plus some new ones including the Pokémon characters Pikachu and Eevee, Ada Twist Scientist, Grogu aka Baby Yoda from the “The Mandalorian”

And best of all, live spectators will line the parade route once again! Click HERE for more info about this year's parade!
