I know lots of people like to stay at home in their jammies on New Year’s Eve, but I’m usually up for a big party that night. Over the years I’ve spent the holiday in big cities including London, Edinburgh, Boston and Las Vegas. Some cities really know how to ring in the new year!
WalletHub took a lookat100 cities here in the US, and based on several different categories, came up with their list of the Best Places to Celebrate New Year’s Eve.
Using 28 key indicators focusing on Entertainment and Food, Costs and Safety and Accessibility, they’ve placed New York City at #1 on their list again this year. Well, that’s no surprise, with the massive crowds that pack Times Square to watch the ball drop. And yes, crowds are allowed to gather there this year, unlike last year during the pandemic.
NYC is tops for food and entertainment, and surprisingly, 10thin safety and accessibility.
