Hey, this is awesome news! Filming just wrapped on the set of "Hocus Pocus 2" here in Rhode Island!
Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are all back starring as Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson in a long awaited sequel to the wildly popular Disney movie.
On Wednesday night Midler tweeted, "THAT’S A WRAP!!!!" Since October, the cast and crew have been spotted filming scenes all over Rhode Island at La Salle Academy and on Federal Hill in Providence. Down in Newport they transformed Washington Square and Eisenhower Park into the 27th Annual Salem Scare Fest. They built the Sanderson Sisters’ house and other structures there, and turned a section of Chase Farm Park in Lincoln into 1600's New England village.
In the new movie, “Three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters back to modern-day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.”
Hocus Pocus 2 will debut on Disney+ this Fall! We can’t wait!
