We found out back in September that the 'Fast & Furious' movies will come to an end after two more films are released. Director Justin Lin confirmed that the story will be told over the course of the last two movies, and that 'F10' and 'F11' will be the completion of the main franchise. Hmm...sounds a lot like he’s leaving the door open for some spinoffs.
And today we hear that Jason Mamoa is joining the next film! The star of “Aquaman” is not going to be a good guy this time around, word is instead he’ll play a villain in 'F10.' Momoa is finishing up negotiations to join Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Sung Kang in the movie. Also expected to return is Charlize Theron, who we first saw in ‘The Fate of the Furious’ aka F8, and she was in F9 as well.
Vin Diesel, who is also a producer for F10, wanted Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson back for this movie, but it’s doubtful that will happen. In December Johnson was asked if he would return for another “Fast and Furious” film and said there is “no chance” of that happening. Filming on F10 is supposed to start this Spring.
