Rhode Island #1 for Pothole Complaints!

Rhode Island may not be number one at everything, but when it comes to potholes, we excel! In fact, we’re number one!

The website Stacker analyzed data from The Clunker Junker and categorized each state by how many complaints were received about potholes on Twitter. They’re an average of how many are registered for each 1000 km, or 621 miles, of road. They found that Rhode Island is the worst! And Massachusetts, before you get too cocky, you ain’t far behind.

States with the most pothole complaints

#1. Rhode Island: 23.4 complaints for every 1,000 km of road

#2. Hawaii: 20.6 complaints for every 1,000 km of road
