Super Bowl Halftime Show Garners Very Few Complaints From Viewers!

This year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring rap stars Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem along with singer Mary J. Blige, although not the most watched of all time, (that honor goes to Katy Perry who brought in 118.5 million viewers for her performance in 2015) was very well received. In fact, Rolling Stone ranked it as the 4th best halftime show ever, and surprisingly it garnered very few complaints from viewers.

With that much of a high profile broadcast there are always going to be some people who gripe, and this year the Super Bowl halftime show drew just 33 complaints from viewers. One person, who obviously doesn’t ever turn on the TV, bellyached about the "scantily clad female dancers who belong in a strip club not on national TV."

That is a huge drop in the number of complaints compared to Super Bowl 54 when Jennifer Lopez and Shakira took the stage in 2020. After watching that duo shake their hips, close to 13-hundred viewers filed complaints.
