Pam Anderson is about to hit Broadway! Pam will take over the role of Roxie Hart in "Chicago" starting next month. This will be her Broadway debut, starting on April 12 and going until June 5. This news comes just after it was found out Pam is teaming with Netflix to "correct a million misperceptions" in the controversial Hulu miniseries, "Pam & Tommy,"
Pam is excited for her stage debut, saying that it'll let her "see what I'm capable on." . “From ‘Baywatch’ to Broadway. I am inspired by the unexpected. This is it, and I will not hold back anymore. I am letting go. For ‘Chicago,’ I’ll be putting all my cards on the table. I am doubling down — on me.”
Producer Barry Weissler is excited about the casting, saying, “Pam is a very moral person, extremely moral. She cares about animals. She cares about the planet. She cares about people.” He also compared Pam to her character of Roxie. “The difference between Pam and Roxie is Roxie doesn’t care about anyone but herself, and she doesn’t give a damn about the outside world as long as she can be famous," he said. "So Pam comes with totally opposite attributes in life, but she fits because of her celebrity, what she’s gone through in her life.”
