The “Barbie” movie has taken a while to get off the ground, but finally we’re getting a first look at Margot Robbie as the famous doll and a release date for the film!
New photos of Robbie in a bleach blonde wig driving in a pink car have been released by Warner Bros. during their presentations a CinemaCon in Las Vegas yesterday.
The Greta Gerwig directed movie also stars Ryan Gosling as Barbie’s main squeeze Ken along with Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Hari Nef from “And Just Like That” and Will Ferrell.
Dressed in a striped halter top and a polka-dot headband, Margot Robbie looks just like Barbie behind the wheel of her pink convertible.
According to IMDB, the storyline goes like this: A doll living in 'Barbieland' is expelled for not being perfect enough and sets off on an adventure in the real world.
"Barbie” hits theaters on July 21, 2023.
