When this kid gets older, he’s going to have quite the story to tell about his birth. He was born at a Metallica concert!
Joice Figueiró, a tattoo artist in Brazil, and her husband Jaime bought tickets to see Metallica in concert back in April of 2020. Thanks to the pandemic, the show was postponed a couple of times, before finally being rescheduled for May 7, 2022. Joice was 39 weeks pregnant on the night of the show, but decided to attend anyway.
When Metallica took the stage, Joice started having labor pains. Things progressed so quickly, that paramedics decided not to take her to the hospital, but helped her deliver a baby boy there at Couto Pereira Stadium in Curitiba, Brazil. Just as the band was wrapping up the show with their song “Enter Sandman,” little Luan, a healthy baby boy, was born. Talk about an entrance! Luan was born to rock!
