Betty White's house has sold for $100,000 over asking price! The late actress’ five-bedroom, six bathroom home located in the desirable Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles went on the market back in April for $10.57 million, and was purchased by an unnamed buyer for around $10.67 million. Betty lived in the home for over 50 years, many of those years with her husband Allen Ludden who passed away in 1981.
The 3,029 square foot home was built in 1952 and it sits on .72 acres all beautifully landscaped with several trees and a pool. From the backyard one can see the J. Paul Getty Museum and views of the mountains.
Not just anyone was allowed in to see the house while it was for sale, prospective buyers had to be pre-qualified in order to take a tour, and according to the property listing, it was being sold for the land.
It’s unclear what the new owner will be doing with the property, but I really hope they don’t knock down that house! It holds so many memories!
