For just about a year I've been on the Board of Directors for A Wish Come True which grants wishes to children and teens suffering from life threatening illnesses in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. We also provide assistance to our wish families in need with our hardship fund helping to pay utility bills or rent, or giving them some extra cash for food or gas.

This year A Wish Come True is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a Gala on Saturday, October 8th at the Waterfire Arts Center in Providence. The even is from 6 to 11 pm and will feature great food, live auctions, a live band and dancing. I hope to see you there! Find out more and purchase tickets HERE!
