Velveeta Created a Cheesy Martini! Would You Try One?

Alcohol and cheese are a great combo, especially when it’s wine and maybe brie or something like that. But Velveeta is just nasty. The processed cheese product has created a brand new, martini-style cocktail known as a "Veltini."

This foul drink will be available at a handful of BLT Restaurant Group locations in New York, Washington, DC, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

The gooey looking concoction is made with cheese-infused vodka, a skewer of Velveeta-stuffed olives and cheesy pasta shells, with gobs of cheese sauce all around the rim of the glass.

The Veltini costs 15 bucks and you can sample one during a special "golden hour" at each BLT steakhouse location.

Scott Cronin, the Senior Vice President of BLT described the drink as a "delicious, over-the-top cocktail." He added, "We worked closely with the brand to make this vision a reality, balancing the flavors of a typical martini with the nostalgic cheesy flavor we all know and love from Velveeta, and are excited for fans to experience this delicious over-the-top cocktail."

The “Veltini” will be available only while supplies last depending on demand, and since I can’t imagine demand will be high for this nastiness, it’ll probably be just a horrible memory before the summer is over.

What do you think? Would you try one?
