Elton John is at Gillette Tonight and Tomorrow: Here's What You Should Know

Elton John and his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will be rolling into Gillette Stadium tonight and tomorrow night so get ready for traffic. 

Foxboro residents are concerned about traffic congestion, and according to WCVB-TV police have said fans should only use Route 1 to head to the concert and not the secondary roads around town because of congestion. 

Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the show. You can get there fairly early because the parking lots will be opening up at 4:00 p.m. and gates will open at 6:00 p.m. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. 

Parking at Gillette costs $50, so if you want to avoid the traffic and the cost to park, take the train! The MBTA is running special rail service to the shows tonight and tomorrow night.  

South Station Train Schedule to Gillette Stadium for Wednesday, July 27 & Thursday, July 28 

 South Station: Departs for Gillette Stadium at 6:05 PM 

 Back Bay: Departs for Gillette Stadium at 6:10 PM 

 Dedham Corp: Departs for Gillette Stadium at 6:25 PM 

 Arrive: Train arrives at Gillette Stadium at 7:00 PM  

Trains are scheduled to leave Gillette Stadium 30 minutes after the concert ends. Click HERE for more information on train schedules to the stadium.  

Remember Gillette Stadium is now completely cashless. They only accept debit and credit cards, wallet or watch. If you do bring cash you can convert that to a VISA card at special kiosks around the stadium.
