Top Gun-Maverick Passes Titanic's Box Office Record :  “Top Gun: Maverick” continues to make history, passing “Titanic” to rise to sixth in domestic box-office dollars ($662M), as well as passing “Titanic” to become Paramount’s biggest film in its 110-year history. Without the help of the huge Chinese and Russian markets, and those are extremely sizeable numbers , the Tom Cruise “Top Gun” sequel has still taken in $1.3B to date worldwide. Domestically, just ahead of “TG: Maverick” at #5 on the all-time box-office receipts - “Avengers: Infinity War” at $678M, which it could surpass in the next few weeks. The biggest domestic box-office movie of all time? “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which brought in $936M in the States alone.
