The Middle Ages had Nostradamus. The 80's had Miss Cleo. In 2022, we turn to the creators of "The Simpsons" for a glimpse into the future. Viewers have marveled as the animated TV show has seemingly predicted events as wide-ranging as Trump running for president, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bengals winning the 2022 Super Bowl, and Russia invading Ukraine. So how do they do it? We may soon find out.
Showrunner Matt Selman say that the newest season of the show will reveal just how "The Simpsons" nails future events. “We have another crazy conceptual episode that explains how ‘The Simpsons’ (knows) the future. It’s a conceptual episode with lots of crazy stuff in it, but it does give an explanation of how ‘The Simpsons’ can predict the future.”
Fox has announced that the new season of "The Simpsons" ,its 34th season by the way!! will premiere Sunday, Sept. 25. Expect a few glimpses into the future - but unfortunately, no Powerball numbers.
