It’s been a bit of a mystery, where has Tom Brady been and why has he missed so much of the NFL preseason?
Well, after taking 11 days off, Brady’s back practicing with the Buccaneers for the first time since Aug. 11. He said he was absent because he had to deal with a “personal issue," and that he was vacationing in the Bahamas at an exclusive resort.
Lots of fans have their theories as to where he’s been and what that “personal matter” could be. Some are even speculating that Tom took the time to don a costume and make a secret appearance on the Fox show “The Masked Singer”.
And it’s not just the fans putting that rumor out there, sports analyst Kendall Valenzuela and LA Rams COO Kevin Demoff have also talked about it on TV and on social media. Brady has a $375M contract with Fox and Valenzuela thinks a “Masked Singer” appearance might be part of that. He also pointed out that Brady’s former teammates Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have already made appearances on the show.
The folks at "The Masked Singer" have gotten in on the fun too posting a video on Instagram showing a football trophy and a goat.
Guess we’ll find out for sure when Season 8 of “The Masked Singer” debuts on Fox on Sunday, September 11th.
