A Wish Come True, Rhode Island's oldest wish granting organization, is celebrating it's 40th Anniversary this year! It's a wonderful, local charity, and Kristin serves on the board of directors.
The Warwick-based charity grants wishes to children with critical illnesses in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, and they also provide resources to their wish families in need with the help of The Meghan Duffy Hardship Fund.
To celebrate this milestone year, A Wish Come True is holding a gala on Saturday, October 8th at the Waterfire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street in Providence. The event is from 6 to 11pm and will feature dinner, dancing and a live band. Providence College Men’s Basketball Coach Ed Cooley will be the Keynote Speaker along with Steve Napolillo, the new PC Athletic Director, who will serve as auctioneer for their live auction.
