Disney Looking To Create Membership Program Like Amazon Prime

No doubt there are legions of Disney fans, so now the company is looking into a membership program like Amazon prime where people would get special perks on all their different products.

If you love all things Disney, then this might be for you! According to The Wall Street Journal, the entertainment company is looking into creating a membership program for their customers. They describe this as being kind of like Amazon Prime with people getting special discounts and perks to encourage them to spend more on everything they offer including streaming their movies and TV series on Disney +. Members would also get special discounts on Walt Disney theme park tickets and deals on merchandise.

Disney's been taking a close look at Amazon Prime, Apple One and other membership programs to get ideas. This is all the very early stages right now, so they're still talking about how much it might cost, but they hope that by bundling several services together customers will spend more money. Isn’t that always the goal? It’s kind of an interesting idea though so we'll see what happens.
