Sorry ladies...if you loved Jason Momoa’s long, luxurious locks...he shaved them off! Yup, Aquaman cut his hair, but he did it for a good cause.
He wants to raise awareness of the problem with too much plastic trash in our environment. Momoa shared a video on Instagram on Monday of his hair being shaved off “for single-use plastics.”
The video is captioned, “here’s to new beginnings let’s spread the aloha. be better at protecting our land and oceans. We need to cut single use plastics out of our lives and out of our seas. plastic bottles, plastic bags, packaging, utensils all of it.”
I guess he’s worried about the bottles of shampoo he was using washing all that hair and its effect on the environment.
He’s so famous for that hair I’m not sure how well this will go over with his fans, but you know what, he looks handsome either way!
