If you’re a fan of the Hulu series 'The Handmaid's Tale' you’ll be excited to hear that show has been renewed for its sixth season, which they say will also be its last.
This news comes just before the premiere of Season 5 of the series which is coming up on September 14th.
The show’s producer Bruce Miller called it a "true honor" to bring the books of Margaret Atwood to life, and he gave a very special thanks to the streamer Hulu, also MGM, and fans of the series for supporting him and the show.
And although the show may be ending with Season 6, the story will carry on with a new series Miller has in the works. He will turn Atwood’s book 'The Testaments' into a new show of the same name. This Handmaid’s Tale sequel will look at events that happen many years after the end of Season 6.
