I'm not sure if it'll be available in time for your Halloween party this year, but this sounds promising! A miracle hangover cure may also burn those alcohol calories!
One thing is for sure, if you have a nasty hangover you are going to remember that for a long time. You swear, “I'm never going to drink ever again!” And then you do, and those hangovers tend to get worse as you get older too.
Well right now a new drug is being tested and it's called Myrkl (prounounced miracle.) The maker claims that if you take it before drinking, the supplement is something of a miracle hangover cure.
In a small study it was found to “successfully break down up to 70% of alcohol within 60 minutes,” so even after a night of heavy drinking you may not feel so bad the next day
Even better, the tests also found that Myrkl burns up a lot of those calories that you're drinking. In that same 60 minutes, they found that 70% of the calories that a person took in through beer, wine, hard alcohol etc, had been metabolized.
The drug now moves into a larger scale testing phase that will take place over six months.
