Sean Penn is being honored by the Television Academy with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. After the 2010 earthquake in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Penn founded the Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE) and it has since helped Ukraine during the war as well as Puerto Rico, Florida and Pakistan recover from natural disasters. The Academy is also adding six to its Hall of Fame. They are: Debbie Allen, Ken Burns, Bob Daly, the former chairman of Warner Bros; Robert L. Johnson, the founder of BET; Rita Moreno, and Donald A. Morgan, an 11-time Emmy winner and director of photography and lighting design. The ceremony is November 16th.
