A Wish Come True is getting ready for their 16th Annual Polar Plunge on New Year’s Day when hundreds of brave folks will be Freezin' for a Reason and jumping into the icy waters off Newport for a great cause.
The annual Polar Plunge at Easton’s Beach (AKA First Beach) in Newport is coming up on Sunday, January 1st, from 12:00 Noon till 3:00 PM. All the money raised from the polar plunge will help grant wishes to kids and teens with critical illnesses, two in particular. This year's “Wish Kids” are Riley from Warwick who is 14 years old, and Mark from Seekonk, MA, age 13. Both wish to travel to Florida to visit Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World! Help grant their wishes and take the Plunge!
