Library of Congress to Preserve 25 Films Including 'When Harry Met Sally'

Yesterday The Library of Congress announced that it was adding 25 films to it’s film registry due to their "cultural, historic or aesthetic importance." In a statement they said one movie in particular is a fan favorite, and it’s definitely a favorite of mine, the 1989 rom-com “When Harry Met Sally” starring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. I’m pretty sure I could quote each and every line from that film, I love it!

Some other classic movies being preserved this year include the Disney animated flick "The Little Mermaid" from 1989, also the 1976 adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel "Carrie," John Waters' hilarious 1988 comedy "Hairspray," 1972’s "Superfly" and Marvel Studios' “Iron Man,”
