Support is pouring in for Damar Hamlin’s online toy fundraiser following his collapse on the field during Monday night’s game. The Buffalo Bills player is in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest in the first quarter of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but fans are showing their support by giving big to his fundraiser.
Hamlin initially started the online toy drive back in 2020 with a goal of raising $25-hundred. But after the game was officially postponed, a GoFundMe Page originally established to support the toy drive sponsored by his charity, The Chasing M’s Foundation, has been getting huge donations - more than $5-million so far.
A message on the GoFundMe page thanks donors for their renewed support and generosity. “If you’d like to show your support and contribute to Danmar’s community initiatives and his current fight, this is the place to do so,” it reads. “This is the only current fund that is being used by the Hamlin Family.”
