Actor Dave Bautista says he’s happy that his days of playing Drax the Destroyer are ending.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star sat down for an interview with GQ and said, “I’m so grateful for Drax. I love him. But there’s a relief [that it’s over]. It wasn’t all pleasant. It was hard playing that role. The makeup process was beating me down. And I just don’t know if I want Drax to be my legacy — it’s a silly performance, and I want to do more dramatic stuff.”
Silly or not, I love that character! The makeup though, having all of that put on and then taken off has to be really grueling.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 will be in theaters on May 5th and I can't wait for it!
