I used to be a massive fan of the ‘The Walking Dead’ the original series until they started killing off a lot of my favorite characters then I kind of just stopped watching.
I will say I am interested in some of these spinoffs that are going to be happening soon, and there are a bunch of them.
First, ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ starring Lauren Cohen AKA Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan who played Negan that's going to debut on AMC in June. Then you have the Daryl Dixon spinoff starring Norman Reedus which is going to make its debut sometime later this year. Unfortunately, Carol will not be a part of that one like she was supposed to be. According to Entertainment Weekly, AMC released a statement that said actress Melissa McBride who played Carol, backed out of the new series because “relocating to Europe to shoot the show proved “logistically untenable” for her.”
There's also an untitled spinoff starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick Grimes and Michonne that is set to premiere next year. That one I definitely want to check out.
Oh, I almost forgot the first spin-off series ‘Fear The Walking Dead,’ that is going to end with its 8th season and it debuts on May 14th. Boy if you're Walking Dead fan there's a whole lot of stuff on the way for you!
