Turns Out You're Entitled To Refunds For Canceled Flights Not Just Vouchers

With all of the recently canceled and long delayed flights, you have rights you need to know about. Travel experts are reminding airline customers that they are in fact, entitled to refunds if their flight is cancelled. Thousands of flights in the U.S. were either delayed or canceled on Wednesday because of an FAA computer glitch. Travel expert Scott Keyes of Scott's Cheap Flights says you can get your money back. He says the Department of Transportation is crystal clear on the fact that if your flight is canceled or significantly delayed you're entitled to a full cash refund. He says if you're experiencing issues, file a complaint on the airline's website and ask for a cash refund, and do not settle for a travel voucher. Airlines will try to push them, but you should be getting cold hard cash.
