On its fifth week in theaters the Shrek spinoff "Puss in Boots -- The Last Wish" is in second place at the box office taking in another ten-and-a-half-million-dollars bringing its worldwide total to more than $335 million. There’s no doubt those movies are a hit, and this latest installment is getting high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, but Eddie Murphy is a little jealous. He says his character Donkey deserves his own spinoff.
In an interview with ETalk, Murphy said he loves the character and would definitely be willing to revive the character for Shrek 5. Although Eddie is a mega fan of Puss in Boots and the character's movies, he said the cat voiced by Antonio Banderas is not as funny as Donkey is. Murphy believes a movie starring Donkey should've been made and he said if Dreamworks wants do it, he's ready to go.
