Exactly one month ago - January 2 - that the world watched in shock as Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin was nearly killed in a freak occurrence on "Monday Night Football". After what appeared to be a routine play, Hamlin collapsed on the field, a victim of what doctors later said was the disruption of his heart's natural rhythm leading to cardiac arrest. He was hospitalized in critical condition and things looked bleak.
Fast forward one month, and not only has Hamlin improved dramatically, he made an appearance during Tuesday night's taping of "The Masked Singer" - appearing onstage with host Nick Cannon as his name appeared in huge lights behind him on the stage.
It was reported by TMZ that Hamlin attended the taping alongside his young brother, Damir, who's a big fan of the show - and he wanted to come along to check out the action. Fans can check out Hamlin's drop-in when Season 9 of "The Masked Singer" debuts on Fox February 15.
