A new study conducted by the Audubon Society of Rhode Island has found that over one third of the birds breeding on the organization’s wildlife refuges are declining in population.
Audubon recently presented its very first comprehensive 'State of Our Birds" report, which gave a full account of species across their protected properties in Rhode Island. It also described how Audubon is working to bring some of those population numbers back up again and gave its conservation recommendations.
