Here’s something else Taylor Swift can add to her long resume..."mayor!" Each city she visits on her Eras Tour is trying to outdo the next by bestowing some honor on her for a few days.
When she kicked off her tour a few weeks ago in Glendale, Arizona, the city renamed itself “Swift City” for the night of her first show. Now she’s headed to Tampa, Florida on Thursday, so Mayor Jane Castor has decided to make Taylor the “honorary mayor" for an entire day. That honor will be given to Swift tomorrow.
Castor posted a video on social media saying that her city felt they had to outdo other cities in honoring the singer, so she's going to present Swift with a key to the city.
I wonder what they'll do to honor Taylor Swift when she comes to Foxboro, MA?
