I hear Katy Perry is so nasty to contestants on American Idol, she could be the next one eliminated from the show.
According to an insider who spoke with Radar Online, lots of fans are mad over the way Katy treats contestants on the show, and reportedly the problem is so bad that producers are thinking about replacing her as a judge.
An unnamed source with knowledge of the situation said, "Katy has come under fire for harsh comments in the past, and now fans are upset over the way she humiliated a singing duo. he demanded they perform before they'd had a chance to rehearse and then blasted their work as 'underwhelming' in front of a national audience!"
Most recently 25 year old singer Sara Beth Liebe quit the show after comments following her performance. Katy made an insensitive comment about Liebe having so many kids.
The former contestant posted a video saying, "I mean it was embarrassing to have that on TV and it was hurtful and you know, that's that."
And remember Katy Perry was also booed last Monday night on “Idol” after criticizing one contestant’s costume choices saying she should lay off the glitter.
Perry said, “Nutsa, every time you take the stage it’s like you glitter bomb the stage.” She continued, “Listen, one thing that I would like to see from you is not one piece of glitter the next time. I know that is going to be hard.”
I don’t know, Simon Cowell was pretty nasty to contestants, and they kept him for 8 years.
