If you love the Olympic games, you’re going to get to see a lot of the action on NBC and Peacock next Summer. The 2024 Summer Games will be held in Paris, and the network and streamer will air an unprecedented amount Olympic coverage. All day fans will get to watch several live events including swimming, gymnastics and the track and field finals. In addition, every sport and event will be streamed live on Peacock.
NBCs coverage of Paris 2024 will be a record breaker for Olympic games broadcast hours. Paris is six hours ahead of Eastern time here in the US, so NBC will air many of the premier medal events in the afternoon here on the East Coast.
The Olympics officially get underway on July 26, 2024 with the Opening Ceremony along the Seine River. That event will air live on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo, and then medal competitions begin the next morning. NBC says we can expect least nine hours of daytime coverage each day, including the live finals.
